Collaboration with PEA Soup Blog

The editors of Ethics are pleased to announce a new collaboration with the blog PEA Soup, a blog dedicated to Philosophy, Ethics, and Academia, which is located at http://peasoup.typepad.com/peasoup/. The editors of PEA Soup have agreed to host an online discussion of one article from each issue of Ethics, beginning with Vol. 120, No. 1 (October 2009), to be selected by them based on their own assessments of their readers’ interests and of an appropriate variety over time. To facilitate this selection, the journal will make the forthcoming articles available to PEA Soup’s editors in advance of publication. They will announce their selection when the issue containing it is published and will kick off the discussion a week later by posting a critical précis of the article. The University of Chicago Press, which publishes Ethics, has agreed to make the selected article in each issue publicly accessible for three months so that anyone who wishes may join in the online discussion.
